Updates as of 3/23/20:
Lumpkin County Board of Commissioners has issued a State of Emergency for Lumpkin County, Georgia. (Click to read the resolution).
In order to do our part to "flatten the curve" and lessen the spread of this virus, we are suspending all activities and events in the park effective 3/23/20. We are issuing refunds for Jeep / 4x4 trail opening tickets that were purchased online. If you would like a refund and have not received one yet, please contact us directly with your order number and information and we will be happy to help you out.
While we want to be the place for you to come escape the craziness and relax in the outdoors, we also must keep the health and safety of our employees and our community as our priority. Please bear with us as we get through this unforeseen time, but rest assured we are working in the background making improvements and getting things in top shape for visitors as soon as we're able to resume normal operations!!!

We are following guidance provided by the Office of Governor Kemp, the CDC, and local and national authorities in response to the recent outbreak of the Coronavirus. We are closely monitoring the developments and are making a few changes around the park as a result. The safety of our guests and employees is our top priority.
Due to the recent developments of the Coronavirus outbreak and the health concerns that go along with it, we will be rescheduling several upcoming events further into the future. We want to keep all of our guests informed as best we can, which we'll be doing via posts on our website (like this!), on our Facebook, Instagram, via email, and via SMS texts. If you'd like to join our email or text updates, click here.
Park hours and changes:
We will continue to have our trails open for normal riding. However, we will be limiting those days to Friday (9:00 AM - 11:00 PM), Saturday (9:00 am – 11:00 pm) and Sunday (9:00 am – 6:00 pm) until further notice. (Updated 3/23/30, all park activities and events are suspended. We will NOT open on weekends for riding or rentals at this time.)
Changes in operating procedure:
We ask that all customers coming out to ride, PLEASE use the shopping options provided on this site to pre-purchase your tickets. You can select which type of machine you're bringing, whether you need passengers passes, additional days, and even camping right here on our site. We will provide you with a wristband when you confirm your purchase with us upon arrival (just show us your order receipt on your phone or email). Please also sign our waiver before you arrive.
We are trying to limit the contact we have with others and practice safe “social distancing”. Your health, as well as our park staff’s health, is very important to us.
We are all hopeful that this will soon pass and life at Iron Mountain Park and the rest of the world can get back to normal. Thank you for your support as we all work together to get through this crazy time!
