Registration, Sign-Up, and Staging

  • Pre-Registration: Racers must register online at www.ironmountainresort.com

    before 12:00 Midnight on Friday the night before the race. There will be a $40 penalty charge for anyone that decides to register after Midnight and the racer will automatically be assigned to the last position in the grid. No registration will be accepted after the 1st Race of the 1st moto begins for each vehicle type. (UTV or MX)

  • Day Pass Requirement: A signed waiver and a Day Pass must be purchased for every person to enter Iron Mountain.

  • Annual Passes: Save money and purchase an Annual Pass for yourself or your Family. Details available at ironmountainresort.com.

  • Staging: Racers must be in the staging area 30 minutes before their race time and should lined up immediately after the previous race leaves the gate.

  • Starting Position:

o MX – Starting Gate:

§ Race1&2-Starting Position will be based on class and Total Points accumulated prior to race day. If the event of a Points Tie, starting position will be determined based on who registered first.

o UTV – Grid Start:
§ Race1&2-Starting Position will be based on class and Total Points accumulated prior to race day. If the event of a Points Tie, starting position will be determined based on who registered first.

o Race for the Money:

§ Position will be determined by best laptime from either Race 1 or Race 2

  • Vehicle Consistency: Racers must use the same vehicle for all races during an event. However, participants may choose a different vehicle for a different race day in the series, provided the vehicle meets the specific class requirements.

  • Number Plates: Number plates must be securely fastened and clearly visible.
    o MX:6-inch numbers,1-inch stroke, displayed on the front and both sides of bike.
    o UTV:8-inch numbers,1.5-inch stroke,displayed on both sides of vehicle

 
  • Timer Failures: It is the responsibility of the racer to properly mount and test the MyLaps MX Transponder. If a transponder fails or falls o_, the racer will receive a DNF for that race.

    o Transponders will be provided;however,collateral(suchaskeys,alicense, or a credit card) is required and will be held until the transponder is returned.

    o Transponder mounts will be available for purchase.
    o If a transponder is lost, the racer will be responsible for covering the cost of a replacement.

  • Class Participation: A single racers may enter one MX class and one UTV class perevent. Racers cannot enter more than one Class in the same vehicle type(MX or UTV)

  • Conduct: Unsportsmanlike behavior will result in disqualification.

  • Safety Requirements: Iron Mountain Officials reserve the right to disqualify or reject any vehicle deemed unsafe or not in proper working order. Any decision made by the officials regarding the safety and condition of a vehicle is final.

    • Intentional contact, including bumping, nerfing, or rubbing, is strictly prohibited.

    • No Alcohol: Consumption of any Alcohol is prohibited before or during the event.

    • Helmets: Always required for all racers while racing and must be securely fastened.

    • MX Safety Gear: Helmet with faceguard, long sleeve shirt, long pants, chest protector, gloves, and boots.

    • UTV Safety Nets: Proper window nets are mandatory to protect the driver. Drivers side for 2 seat vehicles. Both sides for single seat vehicles.

    • Vehicle Safety: Officials may disqualify unsafe vehicles at their discretion.
