Iron Mountain Race Series - Changes and Updates
We are always looking for ways to improve our racing series. Based on feedback, we are making a few small adjustments for the 2nd event.
Schedule Change:
To allow racers time to enjoy the Iron Mountain Park, we are going to assign times for each Racing Class. See schedule below for Drivers Meeting and Race Times.
Track Preview:
There will be two scheduled guided tours of the endurance track. A guided tour for the Motorcycle and 4 Wheeler Class and a separate guided tour for the Non-Turbo and Unlimited UTV Class. See schedule for track preview times. If the racer does not make the guided tourfor their Class, the racer will not be able to ride the track prior to the race.
Young Guns Update:
The Young Guns Class will now be open to any racer 12 to 16 years old riding a Motorcycle, 4 Wheeler, or Non-Turbo UTV/Buggy. The Young Guns course will be approximately 2 miles long with full visibility of the racer from the starting line.
Mini Racer Class:
A new racing class has been created for racers under 11 years old riding a Motorcycle, 4 Wheeler, or Non-Turbo UTV/Buggy. The Mini Racer Class will be free to enter and each racer will receive a Medal for competing.

12:00 – Mandatory Drivers Meeting for Motorcycles and 4 Wheelers:
12:20 – Motorcycle Staging:
12:30 – Start the Motorcycle Race: (90 sec between racers)
12:50 – 4 Wheeler Staging:
1:00 – Start the 4 Wheeler Race: (90 sec between racers)
1:30 – Award Ceremony for Motorcycle and 4 Wheeler Class:
Young Guns & Mini Racer Class
1:45 – Mandatory Drivers Meeting for Young Guns:
2:00 – Young Guns Race Staging and Race:(30 sec. between racers)
2:30 – Award Ceremony for Young Guns:
Non-turbo and Unlimited UTV/Buggy Class
2:30 – Track Preview and Guided Tour for Non-Turbo and Unlimited UTV:
3:00 – Mandatory Drivers Meeting for Non-Turbo and Unlimited UTV:
